The Director General of NITDA, Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi CCIE, has pledged to curb the menace of Cyber Crime and other related offenses in the country.
Inuwa made the remark at an emergency meeting of Cybersecurity Critical Stakeholders at the Agency's Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
The meeting which was organised to deliberate on effective strategies to secure the Cyber space have in attendance important stakeholders in the security sub sector.
The DG stressed that, "we need to put in place strategies and structures that will help in curbing the menace of cyber crime in the country". Thus, everything we do here at NITDA is for the growth and advancement of our Nation.
The DG while welcoming his audience expressed appreciation on the efforts made so far by critical stakeholders to arrest the menace of cyber crime and other related offenses in the past.
"There is urgent need to change the perception of other countries on Nigeria and Nigerians. We must develop the zeal to build back the confidence of investors in our country", he said.
