There are times you would want to do something important online but due to some reasons, you couldn't recharge your line to enable you purchase some data bundle; this is why I am making this post.
Just like borrowing airtime, you can as well borrow data from your various network provider. Some charge a small percentage for service charge while some don't.
In this post, I am going to show you how to borrow data from your various network providers such like MTN, 9mobile, Glo andAirtel. Without typing much, let's get down to the main topic.
You must be on the network for atleast 3 months to be eligible for borrowing data.
How To Borrow Data On MTN
To borrow data on MTN is very simple. All you have to do is dial *606# and select the Xtrabyte option. It’ll bring out a list of data volumes you can borrow and the price for each of them.
The more you are active on the network, the more data volume you will be eligible to borrow.
When next you recharge, the owed amount will be deducted automatically.
How To Borrow Data On Airtel
Borrowing data on Airtel network will attract a small percentage service charge (15%). It will be deducted from the amount of airtime you borrowed. That is, if you request for N200 credit, your phone will be credited with N170 while N30 goes to Airtel as service charge.
To borrow data from Airtel Nigeria, kindly dial *500# and choose option 3 to Borrow Data. Choose the amount of data you want from the option.

How To Borrow Data On 9mobile
9mobile doesn't allow subscribers to borrow data yet. You can only borrow airtime and use the borrowed airtime to purchase data. This is because, borrowed airtime on 9mobile always reflects as your main balance.
To check if you’re eligible to borrow airtime on 9mobile, please dial *665*3# or sms STATUS to 665.
To borrow airtime on 9mobile, please dial *665*amount#.
Available amounts to borrow are: N50, N100, N200, N500, N1000, N1,150 and N2600
Please note that a service charge of 15% will be deducted from your borrowed airtime.

Glo Borrow Me Data has been available for years now. It allows Glo subscribers to borrow data while they pay back later.
